XDefiant, Ubisoft's free to play first-person arena shooter, is said to have the release date slated for October 28th, according to a report on Insider Gaming. Source is coming from @TheMW2Ghost, the famous Call of Duty leaker who posted on X that there's a launch event for October 28th.

I've been told that xDefiant looks to be launching October 28th. I've been hesitant reporting on this for a little bit as it's not a game I cover. 

It absolutely may change but as of now - there is a launch event for 28th.

For XDefiant's release date, it actually has gone through some peaks and twists. On September 11, 2023, Ubisoft's executive producer Mark Rubin posted a statement, explaining the reason why they had to delay the original set release date for Summer 2023. It was because XDefiant didn't pass its submissions to Sony and Xbox.

XDefiant features a variety of factions and classes, each with their own unique abilities and weapons. The game is set in a near-future version of the United States, where players engage in fast-paced, team-based multiplayer matches across a variety of maps and game modes.
