Developed by independent game developer SEKISEI, UNLIGHT: Revive marks the revival of the card battle game "Unlight." In January of this year, it was announced that Unlight LLC would be taking over the operation and development of the game, turning it into an official release. The game took the lead on March 4, and the public Japanese version is set to launch on DMM GAMES, with pre-registration currently open.

UNLIGHT: Revive is undergoing a complete remake in JavaScript from the original Flash version. SEKISEI has shared development insights on Twitter, revealing plans for various balance adjustments, UI enhancements, and the addition of new features to improve gameplay. Furthermore, the game is expected to introduce cards that did not appear in the original version.

Players can now pre-register on DMM GAMES, and upon logging in, they will receive a number of in-game rewards once the game is officially launched.

Due to the need to stabilize the game and address various non-game-related issues within the operating system, the initial release will be limited to Japan. However, SEKISEI assures players that efforts will be made to enable overseas players to enjoy the game in the near future. Overseas players are requested to stay tuned for further updates on the international version of the game.
