Netmarble, led by CEO Young-sik Kwon and Byeong-gyu Kim, has officially announced the name of the remake project for "Seven Knights" as "Seven Knights Re:Birth" (formerly "Seven Knights"), developed by Netmarble Nexus. Alongside this announcement, they have released a new gameplay video, marking the commencement of the project on the 27th of the month.

"Seven Knights Re:Birth" serves as a reimagining of the original "Seven Knights," utilizing the Unreal Engine 5. The game aims to uphold the existing storyline and gameplay while incorporating enhancements and additions in line with the latest trends.

The video released today showcases both gameplay and story segments. In the gameplay footage, viewers are treated to the thrilling 5v5 turn-based combat system, featuring active skills that preserve the essence of the original "Seven Knights" battles. As the adventure begins in the continent of Asdel, anticipation grows for the unfolding narrative.

Accompanying the gameplay footage is a stunning story CG video, where the original protagonist Evan and his companions find themselves surrounded by a group of orcs, only to be rescued by the appearance of the Seven Knight, Eileene. The high-quality visuals not only exhibit vivid action sequences but also showcase detailed facial expressions, heightening anticipation for the game.

Furthermore, Netmarble has launched the official Discord channel for "Seven Knights Re:Birth." Through this platform, users can watch today's released videos and share their thoughts and comments.

Kim Jeong-min, CEO of Netmarble Nexus, stated, "In the future, we plan to share detailed updates on the development progress of 'Seven Knights Re:Birth' through various means such as developer interviews and game videos."
