First Trailer Revealed for KAMITSUBAKI CITY ENSEMBLE - Coming in Spring 2024
First up, KAMITSUBAKI CITY ENSEMBLE, a new rhythm game set in the under-construction city of Kamitsubaki, will be released this spring for Android, iOS and PC via Steam. The game will be available worldwide with language options including English, Japanese, Simplified Chinese, Traditional Chinese and Korean. The co-developers of the game are Studio Lalala and Rocket Studio Inc. In addition, the main characters will be voiced by Harusaruhi, KAF, RIM, Isekaijoucho and COKO, and the music will be composed by HARD CORE TANO*C.

Fans of Monark may recognise Kamitsubaki from the game's official soundtrack, which included tracks performed by members of Virtual Witch Phenomenon (V.W.P.). Current members of the group include Harusaruhi, KAF, RIM, Isekaijoucho and COKO. Kamitsubaki Studio announced its expansion into games, VR and more back in September, leading up to today's announcement.
In the game, players can challenge themselves with a diverse selection of singing tracks, including popular Kamitsubaki Studio songs such as "Devour the past", "Carnivorous Plant", "Sirius's Heart", "Terra", and "the last bullet". The game also includes well-known songs from the series such as "Cute Na Kanojo", "Take you to an alien", "Abyss", "Dislike" and "Majimedake".
The game currently features over 48 standard songs, and by purchasing the Season Pass, players can experience over 100 songs, including additional monthly updates. The game design offers a minimum of 4 and a maximum of 7 variable tracks, with difficulty settings ranging from 'Easy' to 'Pro', ensuring that both beginners and experienced players can enjoy the game to the full.
One year later, Kamitsubaki Studio will release a brand new anime series called Kamitsubaki City Under Construction in 2025. This anime will air on TV networks and a new key visual has been revealed. However, no further details about the anime project have been revealed.
