HoYoverse's latest ARPG, Zenless Zone Zero, is set to release version 1.1, entitled Undercover R&B, on August 14th 2024. This update introduces new challenges for the New Eridu Public Security (N.E.P.S.) and expands on the intricate storylines of Qingyi, Jane, Seth, and the criminal syndicate known as the Mountain Lion Gang. It also introduces new characters, with Qingyi and Jane as 5-star characters and Seth as a 4-star character.

New Playable Characters

Qingyi is an S-Rank Electric Stun character. She uses electricity to stun enemies and make them vulnerable. Her electric attacks build up power for a finishing move. Qingyi is versatile and plays a crucial role in combat and strategy for N.E.P.S.

Jane is an S-Rank Physical Anomaly Agent who excels at fast, multi-stage attacks. She makes enemies have unusual attributes, making her a tough opponent. Her role as both friend and foe adds depth to the story.

Seth is an A-Rank Electric Defense character. He defends and attacks. His weapon becomes a large sword, which is good for defending and attacking. Seth's electric powers make him a good addition to any squad.

Inferno Reap Gameplay

In Zenless Zone Zero version 1.1, you'll experience the new "Inferno Reap" gameplay mode, which features intense action against Nineveh in a timed battle that will test your combat skills. To unlock this mode, you must complete the Withering Garden stage and its associated quests.

Once unlocked, Inferno Reap will challenge you to hone your strategies and reflexes in high-stakes battles. Nineveh's formidable abilities will keep you on your toes, and success in this mode will earn you a number of valuable in-game rewards.

Lumina Square

With version 1.1, you'll be able to explore Lumina Square, a key area for N.E.P.S. This vibrant district offers a fresh perspective on the city's security operations, with new locations to interact with, including commercial spots and security hubs. Interact with NPCs, take on new missions and delve deeper into the lore of N.E.P.S. and their fight against the Mountain Lion Gang.

Camellia Golden Week Event

Version 1.1 introduces the Camellia Golden Week Event, offering exclusive rewards through various limited-time quests. Collect Polychromes, A-Level W Engines and other valuable materials. Participate in new activities such as the Immersive Tactical Drill and world-class customer service enhancements that provide unique bonuses and character outfits. Celebrate the vibrant culture of New Eridu as you earn rewards.
