Zenless Zone Zero (ZZZ) has officially launched, and many players are wondering what to do on the first day in the game.

Main Character Selection

1. First, choose your character.

2. You can choose either the brother or the sister.

3. Both characters talk a lot, so no more silent protagonists!

4. Choosing the brother: The sister will talk more, and you can control the brother to explore the main city.

5. Choosing the sister: The brother will talk more, and you can control the sister to explore the main city.

Choose according to your preference. If you're a male player and choose the sister, they will chat, and you'll see "brother, brother" frequently in the chat.

Game Objectives

What do we need to do when we first enter ZZZ?

1. Complete Main Story Quests

   It takes about 4 days of normal gameplay to finish all the main story quests.

2. Increase Inter-Knot  Level

   Equivalent to Adventure Rank in Genshin Impact, Captain Level in Honkai Impact 3rd, and Trailblazer Level in Honkai: Star Rail.

   The Inter-Knot is crucial for agent upgrades and main story progression. 

It is recommended to achieve 3 stars (three pieces of observational data) in each level in the Abyss, as you will need a certain amount of observational data to break through Web Levels.

First Day Goals

2. Exhaust Power (Stamina)

• Main story quests do not consume power! So we need to use the VR device to farm materials to consume power.

• The VR device unlocks around Web Level 10.

• You will receive a mission from the coffee shop, completing it will unlock VR training.

• You can farm for Dini (money), character upgrade materials, character ascension materials, skill upgrade materials, and Onkei (weapon) upgrade materials.

• Resources are scarce early on, so choose what to farm based on your main character's needs.

• Prioritize S-rank agents. If you don't have any, use Billy, who is very useful in the early stages.

Important!

• Consuming power increases Inter-Knot experience, so try to use up all your power.

• T0: Eileen (Shark Girl)

• T1: No. 11 (Fire Blade), Lycarn (Wolf Uncle)

• T2: Lena (Head Maid), Grace (Gun Girl), Nekomata (Cat Girl), Colleta (Hammer Girl)

A-rank agents are generally focused on functionality or as temporary fillers and are not ranked for now. Strongly recommended to draw Shark Girl; she is strong and currently the only character who can dash across the entire map, enhancing the overall game experience.

No. 11 is placed in T1 because of its simplicity, high strength, and being the main Fire DPS, significantly aiding game progression. Wolf Uncle is in T1 due to his perfect synergy with Shark Girl's mechanics. The best route for drawing cards at the start is to draw Shark Girl and Wolf Uncle directly. In the beginner pool, it's best to get No. 11 or Wolf Uncle, but other agents are also viable, each with their strengths, ensuring players don't need to restart.

Common Team Compositions

A common team composition strategy is:

[Strong Attack] + [Break] + [Support/Defense]

• Strong Attack: The main DPS character, usually needs to have burst capability to deal massive damage when the enemy is in a disrupted state.

• Break: Primarily to quickly accumulate disruption value and also ideally should have DPS capabilities, like Lycarn.

• Support/Defense: The most flexible position, used to cover the weaknesses of the other two, can provide team buffs, clear mobs, or improve survivability, like Lena or Ben. In some scenarios, this position may need to act as DPS, such as in nuclear explosion teams or lighters.
