Wuthering Waves, the action RPG from Kuro Games, is gearing up for its exciting Version 1.4 update, with a lineup of new and highly anticipated resonators. This update introduces powerful new characters, including the 5-star Havoc resonator Camellya, the 4-star Lumi (Dengdeng), and the 5-star Yinlin and Xiangli Yao. Below, we’ve broken down what to expect from the upcoming banners, their release dates, and key details about these resonators.

First Banner: Camellya and Lumi

Camellya  

The first banner of Version 1.4 will feature Camellya, a 5-star Havoc resonator. Known for her powerful offensive abilities, Camellya wields a sword and has a unique mechanic involving marks that boosts her damage output. She excels at delivering high damage in quick, dynamic bursts, making her an excellent addition to the current meta. Camellya's ability to engage enemies swiftly while applying marks will make her a strong contender for players looking for a reliable DPS character. 

Her skillset is designed to allow rapid movement and flashy, high-damage attacks, making her an exciting character for players who enjoy aggressive playstyles. She is expected to be available in the first phase of Version 1.4, which is set to launch in mid-November 2024.

Lumi (Dengdeng)  

Alongside Camellya, Lumi (Dengdeng), a 4-star resonator, will also debut in Version 1.4. Dengdeng is rumored to wield a Broadblade and could feature a unique pet summon mechanic, similar to characters from other RPGs like *Genshin Impact*'s Guoba or Yuegui. This mechanic would allow Dengdeng to summon a pet to assist in combat, dealing damage and supporting her team. Her skillset will likely focus on both melee damage and her pet's abilities, offering a versatile playstyle. Lumi’s Broadblade weapon and the potential for a summoner-based role make her an interesting character for teams in need of both offense and support.

She will be available in the first phase of Version 1.4, launching in mid-November 2024, alongside Camellya.

Second Banner: Yinlin and Xiangli Yao

Xiangli Yao  

The second banner for Version 1.4 will feature the 5-star Electro resonator Xiangli Yao. Xiangli Yao is a powerful DPS character who wields a Gauntlet and specializes in delivering burst damage through his unique Resonance Liberation ability. This ability transforms his basic and heavy attacks into enhanced, high-damage moves infused with Electro energy. Players will need to master the timing of this ability to maximize his damage potential, as well as position themselves strategically to land devastating attacks. Xiangli Yao is expected to be a key character for players seeking a high-damage Electro DPS.

Yinlin

Joining Xiangli Yao in the second banner is Yinlin, a 5-star Electro resonator who wields a Rectifier. Yinlin is a Hybrid character, meaning she excels in both damage-dealing and supporting roles. Her Coordinated Attack allows her to deal significant, screen-wide damage even when off the field, creating constant pressure and synergy with other characters. Yinlin also has the ability to boost Electro and Resonance Liberation attacks, making her a great addition to any team looking to maintain consistent damage output.
