The International 2024 (commonly known as TI 2024 or TI 13) is the 13th annual edition of Dota 2's most prestigious tournament, taking place in Copenhagen, Denmark.TI13 is shaping up to be another unforgettable event, filled with drama, intense gameplay, and emotional moments as teams from all around the globe battle for Dota 2’s ultimate title. After three days of intense competition among 18 teams, the results are in: Team Liquid emerged as the champions, Gaimin Gladiators took second place, and Tundra Esports secured third place It’s worth mentioning that Team Liquid claimed the championship with a flawless record in the playoffs, not losing a single game!

Gaimin Gladiators Face Liquid，Again:

Team Liquid secured their place in the finals after defeating Xtreme Gaming, Cloud9, and Gaimin Gladiators along the way.

On the other side, Gaimin Gladiators, after being knocked down to the Lower Bracket by Liquid in the Upper Bracket Final, fought an intense over 60-minute battle against Tundra Esports in the Lower Bracket Final, emerging victorious to face Team Liquid once again.

Past achievements：

Previously, in the Dota 2 event of the Esports World Cup in July 2024, GG easily defeated Liquid 3-0. However, earlier today in the Upper Bracket Final, Liquid won 2-0 against GG. It's safe to say that no one could confidently predict which team would emerge as the winner this time. Looking at past encounters between these two teams, their record stands at five wins and five losses each. Therefore, this final has become a crucial showdown for both teams

The Final：

In the finals, it was as if Liquid had cleared the fog from July, employing bold strategies and decisive plays to easily take the first two games. Gaimin Gladiators, possibly still recovering from the previous 60-minute tug-of-war, didn’t show their usual strength.

In the first game, there was intense fighting, with both sides engaging in a fierce battle, and GG held the upper hand. However, a failed mid-game attempt to flank led to a team wipe, allowing Liquid to seize the opportunity and push forward to win the game.

In the second game, Liquid maintained their momentum, relentlessly attacking and securing the lead to reach match point.

In the third game, GG did manage to pull off some impressive team fights, but Liquid's form was simply too strong, and they were defeated. In the end, Liquid secured a decisive 3-0 victory, claiming the TI13 championship without any suspense!
