Hypergryph, the developer behind Arknights, has announced that their new multiplayer cooperative action game POP U COM will be available for a public demo during the upcoming Steam Next Fest. The event will run from October 15 to October 22, 2024, offering players a first look at the game.

Game Overview

POP U COM is a multiplayer cooperative adventure game that supports 2 to 4 players. Players can embark on their journey either through local co-op or online multiplayer. Set in a mysterious parallel universe, players must work together with friends to advance through challenging levels, utilizing color-shifting mechanics, match-three shooting, and a variety of helpful tools to solve puzzles and progress through unknown worlds.|

Demo Details

This demo, which marks the first time POP U COM is playable by the public following its appearances at Gamescom and PAX West, will feature seven unique levels from the game’s story mode. Players will have access to the main weapon, four different secondary weapons, and a selection of cosmetic outfits. The demo supports two-player cooperative mode (split-screen) and offers character customization, allowing players to team up with friends to tackle puzzles and challenges.

POP U COM is a blend of color-matching and physics-based puzzles combined with platform action gameplay. Players assume the role of "Summoned Little Warriors," who must traverse an alien world filled with obstacles.
