Nexon's New Game "Super Vibe" Will Start Public Testing on the 21st
Nexon, led by Co-CEOs Dae-Hyun Kang and Jeong-Wook Kim, has officially launched the domestic public test for "SUPERVIVE," a new MOBA battle royale PC game developed by Theorycraft Games, led by CEO Joe Tung, on October 21st.
Game Overview
"SUPERVIVE" offers players a fast-paced and ever-changing battlefield experience in a battle royale format, blending elements of traditional MOBA gameplay with high-speed combat. The game has already garnered positive feedback in previous tests, particularly regarding improvements in visual elements, the addition of Korean voice acting, and the overhaul of the learning and equipment growth system.
Public Test and Pre-registration
The domestic public test of "SUPERVIVE" is now available to all players through the official Nexon website starting October 21st. Pre-downloads began on October 18th. This test allows players to access the game 24/7, providing an opportunity to experience a wide range of game features and mechanics.
Nexon has also opened pre-registration for the public test. Players who register individually through the website will receive the limited-edition "Skyland VIV Glider," while those who register as part of a four-player team will receive exclusive items, such as limited-edition player cards, titles, and emotes.
Global Test Success
Earlier, "SUPERVIVE" had a global test during the "Steam Next Fest," which gained significant attention. The game’s engaging gameplay attracted many new users, and it was well-received, even ranking as the "Second Most Popular Game" during the event. Players logged an average of more than 20 gameplay sessions each, with a total playtime of approximately 127 years, a clear testament to the game's broad appeal.
As of now, the game's global Discord community boasts over 100,000 participants, with the newly launched domestic channel drawing over 10,000 users within just one month of its opening in September 2023. The combination of fast-paced combat and cooperative gameplay has demonstrated strong market potential for "SUPERVIVE," with more updates planned for the upcoming domestic public test.
Upcoming Showcase at G-Star 2024
In addition to the domestic public test, Nexon will showcase "SUPERVIVE" at the international gaming exhibition "G-Star 2024" from November 14th to 17th. The game will be featured as a demonstration product, and a total of 120 demo sessions will be available for players to experience the two-player mode.
