On November 21, Nexon (Co-CEOs Kang Dae-Hyun and Kim Jung-Wook) launched the open beta test for Super Vibe, a new MOBA battle royale PC game developed by Theorycraft Games (CEO Joe Tung). The beta is now open to players in South Korea.

What is Super Vibe?

Super Vibe combines MOBA and battle royale elements, delivering fast-paced action and diverse combat scenarios on dynamic battlefields. With 16 unique "Super Vibe" types, players can explore highly customizable gameplay styles, each with distinct appeals in unpredictable situations. The game offers a deeply strategic experience through its "Hunters" (characters) and team-based gameplay.

Key Features of the Open Beta

Starting from 5 PM on November 21, players can access the open beta through the official website. This version of Super Vibe incorporates extensive feedback from earlier tests, resulting in improved game quality and new content, including additional Hunters, game modes, and system updates.

New Hunters: Hudson and Jin

Two new Hunters, Hudson and Jin, join the roster, bringing the total to 16 playable types. Hudson excels at dominating the battlefield with powerful firepower and crowd control, while Jin offers swift mobility and the ability to summon "clones" for versatile combat strategies.

Expanded Game Modes and Systems

Players can experience the 4v4 team mode “Arena” and the competitive “Ranked Match” mode, adding more depth to the gameplay. A new mission system, based on feedback from last October’s closed beta test, enhances early-game tension and increases game density by reducing map size and round durations. Improvements have also been made to Hunter balancing, as well as the game’s visuals, sound design, and overall accessibility.

Super Vibe PC Café Event

Until December 18, players can join the “Super Vibe PC Café Burn Event.” By playing in “Duo Mode” or “Squad Mode” at participating PC cafés, they can collect in-game currency called “Super Prisms” to enter prize drawings. Rewards include keychains, desk mats, keyboards, and other items. Collecting a certain amount of Super Prisms also grants access to exclusive in-game content, such as skins, sprays, and emotes, as well as the title of “Special Forces Phantom Hero.”
