Netmarble announced on the 19th that it will host a media showcase for the first game based on the "Solo Leveling" IP, titled "Solo Leveling: Arise" (developed by Netmarble Neo). More details about the game were revealed.

"Solo Leveling: Arise" is an action RPG that emphasizes stunning command and operational fun. The game faithfully reproduces the original storyline, allowing players to experience the world of "Solo Leveling" as the protagonist, in a single-player action role-playing style.

In the "Story Mode," users can experience the original story of Sung Jin-Woo, the only one to level up in the world, as he grows into a powerful hunter and awakens as the Shadow Lord. Scene and dialogue production are not simply expressed in text but provide viewing enjoyment through dynamic implementation of "webcomic image cutscene animations" replicating scenes from the original webcomic and "cinematic cutscene animations" using 3D modeling to recreate backgrounds and characters.

The developers stated that considerable effort has been put into combat actions to provide the best control experience for both mobile and PC platforms. Particularly, the main character in the game can equip various weapons, and the combat style varies depending on the weapon used, allowing users to play according to their preferred style. Additionally, the game introduces original settings for acquiring new skills through "skill runes," with significant changes in actions and effects depending on the type of equipment.

Global release in May... Pre-registration starts today 

Netmarble plans to release "Solo Leveling: Arise" in May and will provide services on both mobile and PC platforms. Pre-registration begins today (the 19th) through the Google Play Store, Apple App Store, and the official brand website. Pre-registration rewards include the "Stylish Black Suit Costume" for Sung Jin-Woo, the hunter "Yoo Jin-Ho," and a legendary armor set that can be used in the game.
