About KAMiBAKO: Mythology of Cube

KAMiBAKO: Mythology of Cube is a unique blend of map-crafting, puzzle-solving, battle, and RPG mechanics. In this game, players are tasked with repairing fragmented land through puzzles and defeating monsters to rid the world of darkness. All resources collected from repairing the land can be used to design the world to your liking, creating a dynamic and immersive experience. While the game is accessible to players of all skill levels, it also presents plenty of challenges, ensuring engaging gameplay for everyone.

A Sprawling Overworld

The game’s adventure takes place on the distant continent of Noahtun, a land rich in both natural beauty and danger. As players travel through this overworld, new regions will materialize based on their progression. These untouched areas may hold new encounters, battles, or instances of fragmentation, which require attention and care. Exploration is essential to discover all the land has to offer.

Puzzles: Restoration and Repair

Restoration Puzzles are exclusive to the role of the Restorer. By solving these puzzles, players eliminate the fragmentation of the land and restore it to its original state. These puzzles offer an interesting challenge and are integral to progressing through the game’s world-building mechanics.

Map-Crafting: Build and Develop

Once areas of land are free from fragmentation, players can engage in map-crafting. This allows the development of farmlands, buildings, and other facilities, enabling the harvest of crops and resources. As players continue to develop the land, they will unlock access to stores and new resources. When a sufficient number of facilities are established and surrounded by fences, walls, or gates, the area becomes a village or town, which can be named and personalized.

Battle System

Throughout the game, various monsters will appear, occupying the land and causing harm to the surrounding areas. Players must defend the land with the help of their teammates. During battle, your teammates will attack automatically, while your role as the Restorer is to grant Mana to your teammates. By providing Mana, you charge their weapon skills, allowing them to unleash powerful attacks against the monsters.

KAMiBAKO: Mythology of Cube promises an engaging adventure full of puzzles, exploration, and world-building. Its intricate blend of genres, from map-crafting to strategic battles, offers players a unique experience. Be sure to mark January 30, 2025, on your calendars for the western release of this intriguing RPG.
