The latest Honkai: Star Rail update introduces a new area, two new characters and an upcoming collaboration. Let's look at the best bits of Honkai: Star Rail version 2.4!

The new area is called The Shackling Prison. This high-security facility is where Xueyi and Hanya work. Players can explore it. Beware, danger lurks within The Shackling Prison.

Version 2.4 also adds two new characters, Yunli and Jiaoqiu. Yunli, a sword hunter, will debut during the Wardance event. Jiaoqiu, a fire-type character, brings unique and formidable abilities to the game.

Two more characters, Huohuo and Sparkle, will be available to play during the first and second halves of version 2.4.

While Honkai: Star Rail has been a hit, it faces competition from MiHoYo's upcoming title, Zenless Zone Zero. MiHoYo's strategy seems focused on making their previous titles as successful as Genshin.
