In a recent interview with Dota2.ru, former VP coach ArsZeeqq discussed his views on the atmosphere of the TI qualifiers, the players he wants to see at TI, and his favorite heroes to play.

Q: Do you feel that the TI qualifiers have lost their past atmosphere and passion?

A: If VP had met 1win in the qualifier finals and lost, rather than being eliminated early on, it would still have been very passionate.

But regardless, new stories are happening, and they are also very interesting. NAVI Junior's journey in Western Europe is also exciting.

In my opinion, the passion has not decreased; it's just that after watching a lot of Dota matches, there might be some aesthetic fatigue (maybe).

Q: Which team's absence from TI makes you feel disappointed? Are there any teams that you think deserve to advance more than others?

A: I will really miss the days of seeing xiao8 at TI, although the story of Team Zero is also very interesting. Apart from that, I am quite satisfied with the results of the qualifiers.

Q: It has been a long time since the release of version 7.36, and several minor balance updates have also been released. Are there any heroes that you like to pick in every game?

A: I have always liked playing as the Admiral, but now in order to win in ranked matches, you have to foolishly choose these heroes with high win rates, which is a bit upsetting.

Recently, I have been enjoying playing with Elder Titan. This hero is very fun to play in solo matches, but it's a bit difficult to win in the fiercely competitive ranked matches.
