Indie team XA Studio is pleased to announce that Indie team XA Studio is pleased to announce that Dino Topia is taking part in this week's Steam Next Fest as part of its plans for an Early Access launch in Q3 this year. The sandbox roguelike transports players back in time to a prehistoric world, combining creature collecting with base-building and farming. 

In Dino Topia, players embark on an adventure across a perilous ancient land, exploring dense jungles and arid deserts with their loyal dinosaur companions. Together, they will fight, farm, and forage as they work together on creating a place they can call home, a utopia for them and their dinosaurs. 

Fans of casual games who still want a challenge will love Dino Topia's fusion of strategy, RPG, and adventure elements. There are plenty of environments to explore and secrets to uncover, as well as a whole host of creatures to collect, each with its own distinct ability and appearance. When not creature collecting, players can battle bosses or upgrade their home base. 

The game director at XA Studio said: “We’re always looking for inspiration, and it can come from anywhere. For us, we looked to when we were growing up and the creativity brought upon by dinosaurs being a part of it! That influence has carried into our adult lives as game developers, giving us the perfect backdrop to create Dino Topia.”
